Our family decided to take a road trip this summer. Sue and I visited places we hadn’t been in a while, and we took the kids to have all new experiences! First stop: Baltimore!
As part of our quest to find geocaches in all 351 Massachusetts towns and cities, we needed to visit the Cape. I had been looking forward to this family trip for a couple weeks. Sue and I both planned to find our 1000th cache.
To plan this trip, I had to find a lake with a good number of caches. After much searching, it seemed Lake Pawtuckaway up in Nottingham, NH fit the bill. Although it was two hours away, there were about 30 caches in the area, many of which had high terrain ratings.
So, I’ve begun an effort to get 17% of my finds to be puzzle caches in order to claim ache GC1NBVB, titled “17”. I’m at 3.7% now, so clearly I have some work to do. The good news is that I’ve only found 81 caches total so far, so it’s not insurmountable like it would be if I was at 3% and had found 1000 caches already.
